Part-Time Office Manager
Oxford
Fixed-Term Contract – 6 Months
Part-time – 3 days per week (on-site in Cowley)
£28,000–£38,000 (pro rata)

Are you looking to take the next step in your office management career within a dynamic and fast-paced science start-up? This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the smooth running of our office operations, with a strong focus on health & safety compliance and facilities coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment.
*Support HR, facilities, and administrative functions, including onboarding, procurement, and contractor liaison.
*Take ownership of health & safety procedures, including risk assessments, fire safety checks, first aid coordination, and compliance documentation.
*Manage office systems and processes using Microsoft 365.
*Act as the first point of contact for building management, suppliers, and service providers.
*Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance workplace safety, comfort, and efficiency.
*Represent the company professionally and contribute to a positive team culture.
What You’ll Need:
*2+ years’ experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally with exposure to facilities or H&S responsibilities.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Confident communicator with a proactive and flexible approach.
*Working knowledge of health & safety regulations, facilities management, procurement, and basic finance processes (e.g. payments, invoicing).
*Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
