Location: Wetherby
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000

NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a highly respected firm of Independent Financial Advisers as they continue to expand their specialist team. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an ambitious Junior Paraplanner looking to develop their expertise in a highly rewarding and meaningful area of financial planning.
The Serious Injury team provides bespoke financial planning and investment advice to individuals who have suffered life-changing injuries, helping them achieve long-term financial security and peace of mind.
The Role
As a Serious Injury Paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting advisers to deliver detailed, high-quality advice and personalised client service. You’ll receive full training and ongoing support to build your technical expertise in this specialist field.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist in the formulation of financial advice for new and existing clients.
*Draft comprehensive financial planning and suitability reports.
*Update clients’ financial plans and prepare review documentation.
*Liaise closely with advisers to ensure all advice is delivered accurately and efficiently.
*Help maintain an exceptional client experience at every stage of the advice process.
About You
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in financial services, ideally in a paraplanning role.
*Strong attention to detail, numerically confident and methodical.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Highly organised, with a client-first mindset.
*Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Experience using Voyant or Intelligent Office (IO) would be advantageous.
*Minimum A-Levels (or equivalent) – Degree and/or DipPFS qualification desirable.

*Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
