Utility Auditor

We are seeking a Utility Auditor to join a team in St Albans. This role involves conducting energy audits for clients to help them save money and reduce their environmental impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining clients’ energy bills, identifying overcharges, and working with suppliers to secure rebates.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Request data from suppliers and analyze utility data going back 6 years to identify any overspend.
*Detail anomalies accurately and generate reports to present findings to management.
*Manage internal inter-dependencies to ensure tasks are promptly completed.
*Liaise with suppliers to obtain rebates on behalf of the client.
*Report findings and recovery amounts to clients.
*Maintain awareness of current industry trends, technology, and developments.
*Handle additional duties and special projects to ensure the business operates efficiently and complies with all regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a similar senior role.
*High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently, proactively, and use initiative.
*Strong analytical skills and meticulous with data.
*Proficient in graphing consumption data and identifying trends.
*Confident in managing supplier relationships until a rebate is recovered.
*Excellent telephone manner and stakeholder relationship skills.
*Commercially astute and technologically adept.
*Competent user of MS Excel.
