Job Description:
Freight Administrator – Sea Freight
Location: Shipley
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:15pm
We’re working with a well-established, small-to-medium sized organisation based in Shipley who are looking for an experienced Freight Administrator to join their busy and friendly team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sea freight experience who enjoys a varied administrative role within a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Manage and process all sea freight documentation, including Bills of Lading and other shipping paperwork
* Liaise with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure smooth shipment handling
* Handle general administrative duties related to freight operations
* Respond to and manage customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Support the wider operations and logistics team with day-to-day tasks
Key Requirements: * Previous experience in sea freight administration is essential
* Strong knowledge of freight documentation and import/export procedures
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office and freight management systems
* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
