The Role
As an Accounts Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and management in a supportive environment. This position is ideal for those who have completed AAT, are part-way through ACCA, or are qualified by experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Producing timely year-end statutory accounts
*Liaising with clients regularly and building strong relationships
*Completing transactions using cloud accounting software
*Preparing and submitting VAT returns to HMRC
*Producing management accounts and financial forecasts
*Completing self-assessment tax returns, including detailed capital gains calculations
*Assisting with external audits at client premises when required
*Analysing management information tailored to client needs

Who We’re Looking For
*AAT qualified, ACCA part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Ideally, experience in an accountancy practice (industry candidates with strong understanding of practice operations will be considered)
*Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
*Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
