We are seeking a Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all payroll operations within the not-for-profit sector. This permanent position is based in Sunderland and requires expertise in accounting and finance processes.

Description
*Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the organisation.
*Ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and statutory requirements.
*Maintain and update payroll systems and records accurately.
*Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliations.
*Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll queries promptly.
*Provide guidance and support to team members on payroll-related matters.
*Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
*Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations relevant to the not-for-profit sector.
Profile
The successful Payroll Manager will have:
*Proven experience in payroll management within accounting and finance.
*Strong knowledge of payroll systems and statutory requirements in the UK.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Solid communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
*Proficiency in relevant software and IT systems.
Job Offer
Full time and permanent position + Paying £38397-42,723 (DOE) + Hybrid working (2 days in the office) + 25 days AL plus bank holidays + Gym Discount + Employee Assistance Programme + Enhanced family friendly policies, leave, and pay.
