Reed Practice is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors to assist the team on a temporary basis.
This interim role is to provide additional support due to long-term sick leave. At present we estimate the length of the contract will be 2-3 months but could be extended. The firm has been serving owner-managed businesses and private individuals for over 45 years, delivering high-calibre services.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support Client Managers by working with a diverse pool of clients.
*Prepare statutory year-end accounts using a range of software including Xero, Sage, and Quickbooks.
*Draft, complete, and file personal tax returns.
*Prepare corporate tax returns.
*Create and submit VAT returns.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Ideally some experience working in an accountancy firm or a similar environment, managing accounts for multiple entities.
*Hold a relevant qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or AAT is highly favourable.
*Proficiency in using accounting software like Xero, Sage, and Quickbooks.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
