Job Description:
Reed are pleased to be supporting a repeat customer to recruit a new customer service assistant to join their small friendly team.
Our client are a successful SME who operate in a specialist market supply and distributing high tech specialist equipment andare looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Adviser to join their team.
Position Overview: As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional service and support. You’ll be responsible for managing inquiries, maintaining order records, updating customer accounts, and ensuring a smooth and efficient returns process.
Key Responsibilities:
*Monitor and manage the Customer Service inbox, responding promptly and professionally to customer queries and concerns.
*Provide outstanding service via telephone and email, ensuring a positive and helpful experience for all customers.
*Manage and maintain COS (Customer Own Stock) orders and records, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
*Run daily order status report to ensure all orders are shipped, dispatched correctly
*Maintain up-to-date and accurate information on customer accounts and within Salesforce and Sage.
*Process and monitor customer backorders using relevant backorder reports, keeping all stakeholders updated with progress and ETAs.
*Prioritise and manage daily customer cases, whether received through the inbox or internal ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
*Oversee the full process for returns, from issuing returns authorisations to coordinating with suppliers and keeping customers informed throughout the process
To be considered for this role you will be a positive, proactive individual with a strong focus on customer service.
Additionally experience with Sage and/or Salesforce would be a real advantage.
