Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting our client in Cleckheaton to recruit an organised and detail-focused Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant for an ongoing temporary assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team and support essential transactional processes within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Sorting, verifying, posting and filing both PO and Non-PO invoices across multiple entities/countries
*Reconciling Statements of Account and requesting copy invoices where required
*Reconciling inbound goods through the ERP system and chasing outstanding invoices
*Matching AP balances against the General Ledger
*Investigating and resolving invoice/payment queries with internal and external stakeholders
*Supporting internal and external audits by providing relevant information
*Preparing payment runs as directed by the Accounts Payable Manager or Financial Controller
*Assisting with additional ad hoc finance tasks as needed
Experience & Skills Required:
*Previous Accounts Payable experience preferred but not essential
*Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
*Experience using SAP or similar ERP system is advantageous
*Strong communication skills, confident liaising at all levels internally and externally
*Effective problem-solving skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
*Excellent written and spoken English
*Additional language skills desirable
