Supply Nursery Practitioner Opportunities - Bedford & Surrounding Villages
Job Title: Supply Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 / Level 3)
Location: Bedford and surrounding villages
Rate: £100 - £150 per day (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years professional looking for flexible work within nursery settings? Aspire People are working with a number of welcoming and well-established nurseries across Bedford and the surrounding villages, who are seeking Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to support on a supply basis.
These roles are ideal for practitioners who enjoy variety, value flexibility, and are passionate about creating safe, engaging, and inclusive environments where young children can flourish.
About the Nurseries:
Community-focused settings with a strong emphasis on relationships with families
A mix of structured learning and child-led play
Excellent outdoor learning opportunities
Supportive teams with a positive and nurturing ethos
Opportunities to work across private nurseries, maintained settings, and nursery classes within schools
We are looking for practitioners who:
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
Are caring, proactive, and confident supporting children aged 0-5
Can adapt quickly to different nursery environments and routines
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s wellbeing
Are open to ongoing training and professional development
Have an interest in SEND (desirable but not essential)
Experience within a nursery or Early Years setting is beneficial, but we also welcome applications from newly qualified practitioners or those returning to the sector who are looking to gain experience through supply work.
