Job Description:
Working Hours 8:30am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
(Term time only, unless otherwise stated)
Contract Type Part-time
Key Responsibilities * Opening, securing, and general supervision of the school premises during working hours
* Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
* Monitoring health and safety across the site, reporting hazards or defects
* Setting up rooms and areas for lessons, meetings, or events as required
* Undertaking basic cleaning and site tidiness duties as needed
* Receiving and handling deliveries
* Liaising with school staff and external contractors
* Supporting emergency procedures where necessary (e.g. fire alarms, evacuations)
* Transporting equipment or materials between sites when required
Person SpecificationEssential Requirements * Full UK Driving Licence
* Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or site support role (or similar)
* Practical DIY and basic maintenance skills
* Good understanding of health and safety practices
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
* Good communication skills
