Contract Type: Full-time

We are seeking a proactive and organised Art & Design Technology Technician to support our vibrant and creative departments in a dynamic secondary school in Newham.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting creative learning and enjoys working in a practical, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:*Prepare, maintain, and organise materials and equipment for Art and Design Technology lessons
*Support teachers and students during practical sessions
*Ensure all tools, machinery, and workspaces are safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations
*Assist with displays of student work and exhibitions
*Manage stock levels and place orders where necessary
*Maintain workshop equipment, including basic repairs where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will:*Have experience working in an Art, Design Technology, or workshop environment (school experience desirable but not essential)
*Be highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures in a practical setting
*Be able to work independently and as part of a team
*Show enthusiasm for supporting young people in a creative setting
