We are currently partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant. This role is an excellent opportunity for a confident and proactive individual who can operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. The position is initially on a 3-month contract with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
*Maintaining supplier accounts and resolving any queries.
*Supporting payment runs and performing reconciliations.
*Reviewing staff expenses to ensure compliance with policies.
*Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in Accounts Payable or as an Accounts Assistant.
*Familiarity with accounting systems, Sage experience is beneficial.
*Strong attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
*Confidence and proactivity, with the ability to hit the ground running.
