*Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
*Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
*Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
*Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations effectively.
*Assist in the development of audit plans and programs tailored to the organisation’s needs.
*Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions resulting from audits.
*Act as a key point of contact for French-speaking stakeholders and international teams.
Profile
A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:
*Fluency in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
*A professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) or equivalent experience.
*Proven experience in internal auditing within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
*Knowledge of risk management practices and internal control frameworks.
*The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
