An innovative and growing medical device company based in Oxfordshire is seeking a Production Technician to join its operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or engineering experience who enjoys hands-on technical work within a highly regulated environment.
The RoleThe successful candidate will support the assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging of medical devices while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will work closely with operations, quality, and development teams to maintain high manufacturing standards and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities*Assemble medical devices and sub-assemblies following approved procedures and work instructions
*Carry out visual and dimensional inspections using calibrated equipment
*Perform routine product testing and accurately record results
*Ensure products meet quality standards before progressing through production
*Maintain accurate production documentation in line with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
*Support process improvement and efficiency initiatives
*Assist with prototype builds and product development activities
*Provide technical support across manufacturing and quality functions
*Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures
About You*Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical production environment
*Able to follow detailed work instructions with a high level of accuracy
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
*Good organisational and documentation skills
*Comfortable working within regulated procedures and standards
Desirable Experience*Medical device, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing experience
*Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, or GLP environments
*Experience with inspection or testing equipment
