Company profile’New Beginnings - Access to Education’ is a bespoke alternative education service based in Preston, Lancashire. We specialise in providing high-quality, one-to-one teaching for young people usually aged 11–16 who are currently out of mainstream education.Our mission is to empower students to rebuild confidence, make academic progress, and re-engage with learning in a calm, supportive, and flexible environment, with safeguarding as our top priority. We have experience supporting students with complex needs, including SEND, SEMH, and children looked after (CLA).We prioritise core subjects—English, Maths, and Science—delivered by experienced, compassionate teachers who tailor lessons to each student’s needs. Teachers with additional subject specialisms are welcomed, and enrichment learning is added when appropriate.Working closely with families, schools, and local agencies, we ensure clear communication, safeguarding, and personalised support. Our approach is child-centred, trauma-informed, and focused on creating meaningful learning experiences.We value our teachers, offering flexible working arrangements, consistent support, and access to free professional development opportunities, fostering a culture where both students and staff thrive.
