Job Description:
Our client are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join their site in Pencoed. The successful candidate will utilise the latest technologies to develop automated manufacturing and test facilities, contributing to an award-winning manufacturing facility. This role is offering a salary of up to 38,000.
Day to Day of the role: * Develop bespoke Automation solutions.
* Research the latest technologies and ideas for production environment application.
* Liaise with internal and external companies to manufacture designs.
* Build, test, and debug equipment designs and control circuits.
* Adhere to company procedures and produce necessary documentation to ensure compliance.
* Produce documentation in accordance with required safety standards.
* Work within a cross-discipline engineering team, communicate best practices, ideas, and project updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
* Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic circuits.
* Experience of Project Management/Schedule Setting.
* Excellent understanding of Manufacturing Equipment Safety Requirements.
Desirable Criteria: * Knowledge in Robotics.
* Knowledge of PLC Programming.
* Knowledge of 3D CAD Design, preferably SolidWorks/AutoCAD Inventor.
* Knowledge of PUWER/COSHH regulations.
