We now have a Project Lead role on a 6 month Fixed-Term contract basis for someone who will be taking accountability for the delivery and being involved in the discovery through to development phases of a large scale initiative within our Retail business. The role will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple Scrum teams, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. This role will also play a pivotal role in governance and risk management to mitigate potential challenges and ensure successful project delivery.
Job Description
* Leading on the project from inception to development, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget, supporting the Head of Delivery.
* You’ll be managing co-ordinating multiple Scrum teams located in different geographical regions, fostering collaboration, communication, and efficiency.
* Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to ensure the delivery of the project.
* Implementing effective governance frameworks to monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies in line with the project.
* Identifying, assessing, and mitigating any project risks, whilst proactively addressing issues to minimise impact on project delivery.
* Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the project teams, optimising processes and workflows for increased efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
* Proven experience leading large-scale projects within a technology-driven organisation.
* Extensive experience managing multiple Scrum teams across different geographic locations.
* Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
