Our client, is a well-established Advisory Firm, is looking for a Romanian Speaking Client Accountant. They are based in West London, near Harrow.
Client Accountant Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Mandatory:

- Addressing client queries primarily related to their business, focusing on tax and accounts matters.
- Preparation of accounts up to the trial balance stage, to be subsequently forwarded to the Accounts Finalisation Team.
- Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and trust.
- Interacting with HMRC when necessary, particularly for reconciling accounts or addressing missing payments. This role does not involve handling client investigations.
- Verifying and ensuring completeness of client data through diligent checking and follow-up.
- Compilation and timely submission of VAT returns.

Preferred Skills (Training Provided):
While not mandatory, proficiency in the following areas is preferred:

- Preparation and submission of client self-assessment tax returns.
- Compilation and submission of corporate tax returns.
- Handling payroll and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) matters.
- Assisting with accounts finalization processes.
- Identifying client needs and facilitating introductions to other relevant teams, such as the value-added team, for services like mortgage assistance, tax investigation coverage, and R&D claims.
- Ability to assess client contracts and identify unfavorable or non-profitable client engagements.
- Conducting client tax review meetings.
- Knowledgeable about money laundering regulations and practices.
The Ideal Candidate Would Have:

- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in accounts.
- Proficiency in both Romanian and English languages, enabling effective communication.
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislations and trends within the accounting profession.
