Job Description:
HGV DRIVER CLASS 2
Location: Hereford
Days: week 1 Monday to Friday and week 2 Tuesday – Saturday, 0700/0800 start time
Knock and drop
Position: Permanent, full time
Salary: £28,000 per annum going to £30k after 3 months
We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 driver for our client based in Hereford. You will be delivering drinks and sundries requirements, based on an average of 48hrs per week but once the work/drops have been completed you will be able to finish. Please be aware there will be some physical lifting involved within this role but will have a driver’s mate with you to assist with the lifting.
As a professional HGV driver, we take it as a given that you will have a good knowledge of being able to follow routes whilst maintaining a safe load. Also following and maintaining health and safety procedures to ensure the safe and damage free delivery of goods.
Ideal candidate:
• Valid HGV Class 2 (C) License
• Valid CPC License and Digi Taco Card
• Must be willing to handball/multi drop
• Excellent time keeping
• To comply with driver’s hours, rules, and regulations always
• A commitment to participating in and always contributing to a safe working environment.
• A flexible approach to work.
You must also have good customer facing skills and attention to detail.
The salary will be 30k based on an average of 48hrs per week with a performance bonus of 2k. The working hours will be Tuesday to Saturday with a start time generally between 0700 and 0800.
