Job Description:
For over 60 years, Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists have been recruiting professionals like you for permanent, temporary and contract positions.
We are currently working with a reputable organisation with a global presence, in Mid Essex who are looking to hire a Quality Inspector.
The successful appointee will be working alongside a team of highly experienced engineers, scientists and technicians and will have exposure to some of the most advanced technologies in the world.
Responsibilities:
* Operation of CMM / OGP machine to carry out inspections
* Use of manual inspection equipment eg calipers, verniers, micrometers etc.
* Creating inspection plans
* Communicate non-conformances
* Record inspection results
Skills & Experience required:
* Understand and interpret technical drawings
* Practical experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
* Previous experience of using inspection equipment
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
