* Salary: FTE £22,737 - £23,500; Pro-rata £19,812 - £20,477

St Mary’s is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Care Worker to join our team. This role is integral in providing support to pupils within our residential setting, catering to students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND.
Day to Day of the Role: * Provide outstanding care and support to pupils with special educational needs within a residential setting.
* Work collaboratively within a small, dedicated team to ensure the well-being and development of our pupils/students.
* Follow a shift rota, which includes evenings and alternate weekends, during term time (36 hours per week over a 2-week rota).
Required Skills & Qualifications: * A positive, kind, and caring attitude towards children and young adults.
* Basic knowledge of the care and support needs of pupils with special educational needs.
* Health & Social Care or equivalent relevant Level 3 qualification.
* Commitment to providing outstanding support.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and alternate weekends.
