Job Description:
Employment Solicitor * Location: Waterloo, London
* Job Type: Full-time
* Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
Our client is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their growing Employment Team. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified to 2 years post-qualification experience solicitor with employment law experience. We are looking for a candidate who is the right fit for our clients team, with a focus on delivering exceptional service. More experienced solicitors are also welcome to apply.
Day to day of the role: * Work on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
* Provide advice on settlement agreements, disciplinary and grievance matters.
* Manage employment tribunal cases effectively.
* Maintain a high standard of client care and compliance.
* Engage in marketing and development activities for the team.
* Collaborate with team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the firm.
* Travel between offices and client sites as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * NQ to 2 years PQE in employment law, although more experienced candidates will be considered.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and team members.
* Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
* Excellent IT skills and the ability to work independently.
