Job Description:
KS2 Teacher * Location: Enfield
* Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (3 days per week, September 2024 - July 2025)
We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a supportive and collaborative team in Enfield. This long-term temporary role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children. The ideal candidate will have prior KS2 experience and must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Day-to-day of the role: * Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that adhere to the KS2 curriculum.
* Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for KS2 SATs where applicable.
* Create a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and encourages a love for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Previous experience teaching in KS2 is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment framework.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
* Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
