Day-to-day of the role: * Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities, ensuring high levels of student engagement and learning.
* Develop lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning needs.
* Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to foster academic development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
* Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred, though unqualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
* Demonstrable experience in teaching English at the secondary level.
* A strong grasp of the English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
