Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity as Food & Beverage Manager in East Sussex (Uckfield) has become available on an initial 3-month contract at Horsted Place Hotel. This is a small luxury 17-bedroom Hotel, with a small Restaurant, lounge, terrace and an events space which can hold a maximum of 80 guests.
Accommodation/ Live-In can be provided for the duration of the contract and the General Manager is happy for you to work your hours across 4 days per week, to allow you to return home on your days off if desired.
This could suit someone who is available at short notice and has experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in a large Restaurant, or perhaps someone who has operated at Manager level in a smaller establishment. As a small venue, you will lead from the front and be the face of the F&B department, conversing and connecting with guests.
Food & Beverage Managerjob in East Sussex (Uckfield) Highlights:
* £30,000 pro rata salary + service charge (approx. £250 per month).
* Joining on an initial 3-month contract, but there could be a potential for this to be made permanent.
* 40 hours per week – which can be worked across 4 or 5 days depending on your preference.
* Live-in/ Accommodation can be provided – either for the full duration of the contract or just on the days you work.
* Overseeing 4 permanent staff members along with a small handful of casual staff.
* 2AA Rosette Restaurant – Great to add to your CV!
* Small venue – very much a case of quality over quantity with a slower, more personable pace of service.
