Job role: Warehouse Operative - Stockroom
Location: Aylesford, ME20 6SW
Shift Pattern: Monday / Tuesday 06:00 – 14:30 & Wednesday /Thursday 06:00 – 13:30
30 hours per week
Salary: £11.44 per hour
Menzies Distribution are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Newstrade team. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies and its customers, providing a first-class service with our team in Maidstone.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE DUTIES
* Sorting, counting, logging of stock.
* Attention to detail is very important as we sort stock by a unique barcode.
* Picking and packing.
* Making pallets of stock up ready to for collection.
* To be able to work as part of a team or alone.
WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE REQUIREMENTS
* Positive ’can do’ and hardworking approach to work
* Appetite for supporting colleagues
* Physically fit to meet the demands of a warehouse environment
* Numeric Literate.
* Computer skills essential.
* Good level of English. some parts of the job are complex, and training will be very informative.
* Clear legible handwriting
