Job Title: Behaviour Mentor for Secondary School

About the Role:
Reed Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our dynamic team in a secondary school setting. This is a full-time position, requiring the mentor to work one-on-one with students, understanding their mental health issues and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work one-on-one with students, providing support and guidance.
* Understand and address students’ mental health issues and behavioural needs.
* Follow a focus list to guide daily activities and interactions with students.
* Occasionally take students outside of regular lessons to conduct sessions in the library or other suitable locations.
* Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to enhance the learning environment and address individual student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a secondary school setting.
* Experience working one-on-one with students.
* Understanding of mental health issues and behavioural needs in secondary school students.
* Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and needs of students.
* Must have at least a pass grade in Maths and English.
* Must be able to provide evidence of your highest qualifications.
Requirements:
* Must hold the right to work in the UK.
* Must be able to complete safeguarding training via Reed Education.
* Must be willing to undergo a DBS check or have a DBS on the Update Service.
