You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of production and manufacturing equipment ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Conduct routine maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment and systems
* Diagnose and repair electrical problems
* Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and standards.
* Provide technical support and training to other team members and departments where necessary.
* Work closely with the production team to identify areas for efficiency improvements and implement changes to enhance performance.
* Respond quickly to any emergencies or breakdowns to minimise downtime.
* Keep accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs for compliance and analysis purposes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Recognised qualification in electrical engineering (HNC, HND, NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent).
* Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably within an FMCG environment.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and fault-finding techniques.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work on a shift basis, including nights and weekends when required.
