Job Description:
Job Title: Contracts Manager - Domestic Housing Groundworks
Location: Stalbridge, UK
Salary: £75,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion.
* Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other legal requirements.
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
* Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, specifically in domestic housing groundworks, roads, and sewers.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
* Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
