Our client is an established and well respected local business specialising in small plant machinery and equipment repair. They are looking for a skilled and dedicated Repair Technician to join their team in the Newark workshop.


As a Repair Technician you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to the customers and ensuring the smooth operation of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is mechanically minded and loves to fix things.


Responsibilities
* Inspect tools for faults
* Communicate with customers and provide quotes
* Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair various products and equipment
* Keep accurate records of repairs
* Inventory of parts
* Stay updated with new technologies and repair techniques


What you need to succeed in this role
* Experience in plant fitting or hire trade is highly desirable
* Mechanical mindset
* Experience in repairs such a small plant, powertools or motorbikes
* Problem solving skills
* Attention to detail

* Commercial mindset


What you will get in return
* Working in a spacious workshop with access to all the best kit
* Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 and every 3rdSaturday 8:30-12noon
* £25,000 per annum
* Bonus structure with OTE of £29,000
