Job Description:
Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Pipefitter/Fabricator to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in the Loanhead area.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4.45pm (37hrs)
Salary: £31K (starting salary)
Daily Duties –
* Prepare plate, pipe, and associated fittings in accordance with technical drawing
* Cut, match-bore, and set-up pipe work and other fabrications for being welded
* Provide support to welder, positioning products correctly to achieve tolerances and relevant weld procedure
* Record all rework/repairs and report to Supervisor if there are any issues
Candidate Requirements –
* Previous experience within a heavy fabrication environment
* Time served Fabricator/Pipefitter with recognised apprenticeship
* Able to use hand and power tools to cut, shape and fit materials accurately
