Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver a high-quality, tailored Design and Technology curriculum for students with special educational needs (SEN).

* Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique requirements of each student, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other educators to develop and implement effective SEN strategies school-wide.
* Regularly assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform and adjust teaching practices as needed.
* Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity, participation, and achievement.
* Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and external specialists to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.
* Stay updated on the latest advancements in SEN education and Design and Technology teaching, integrating best practices into the curriculum.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Extensive experience teaching Design and Technology, with a strong background in working with students with special educational needs.
* Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN students.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about advancements in SEN education.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
