We are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join the Commercial Insurance team of our client in Aldridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of client insurance programs, providing professional advice, and ensuring the highest level of client service. This role requires adherence to FCA regulations and offers an opportunity for personal and career development within a market-leading team.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Provide professional advice and service in all aspects of client relationships, including handling enquiries, renewals, and adjustments.
* Manage a portfolio of larger client insurance programs and handle new business enquiries.
* Act as a technical referral point within the commercial team and offer guidance to less experienced members.
* Engage with clients closely, working alongside senior directors and executives.
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to the team’s growth.
* Utilise leading technology and infrastructure to perform duties efficiently and effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must have experience in a Commercial Insurance Broking environment.
* Strong technical insurance knowledge across various commercial classes.
* Experience with SSP and Applied Epic is advantageous.
* Motivated by providing solid insurance advice and solutions to clients.
* A team player with a “can do” attitude and the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills, able to build positive relationships with clients and team members.
* Ability to collate information and produce reports.
