The role:
This is a very exciting and creative role in which you be involved in sourcing new catering equipment and & re-engineering existing products for the hotel and restaurant sector. In this position you will have extensive contact with existing and new suppliers , distributors as well as with kitchen construction and their design teams
Duties: The role is a mix of purchasing and project management.
* Sourcing new catering & kitchen equipment suppliers
* Research new equipment cost, availability, quality & compliance (including energy consumption, warranty issues etc)
* Produce analytical reports to support purchasing decisions in this category
* Explore re-purposing of existing equipment and managing spec changes
* Liaising with teams across the business regarding project plans, installations and deadlines
