Reed Finance is representing a client in the construction sector to recruit a Management Accountant position. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with the wider finance team to ensure month end deadlines are met as well as various ad-hoc duties.
Our client is searching for candidates with a background in the construction sector and is open to both qualified and qualified by experience accountants. Previous experience with COINS software is ideal.
The main responsibilities the position entails are:
* The preparation of monthly management accounts
* The production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Bank reconciliations
* The preparation of VAT returns
* Daily cash flow management
* Processing invoices and staff expenses
* Monthly payroll and sub-contractor reconciliations
* Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks and projects
To be considered for the role, you must possess the following:
* Qualified or qualified by experience accountant
* Previous experience working in the construction sector
* Ideally previous experience with COINS software
* Strong communication skills
