Job Description:
Legal Counsel - 12 months FTC role with a global manufacturing business.
Salary c.60k, largely home based
Small, nimble, UK based legal team with access to broad ranging legal work right across the commercial spectrum.
- commercial contracts, supply, sales, procurement, manufacturing, logistics
- corporate governance and regulatory work, DP, IP, EU etc
- Co Sec exposure
- Working across a number of jurisdictions.
The role is to cover a period of maternity leave and will be for 12 months starting asap (although could be January if that helped)
We are very flexible as to background but a proactive, friendly approach to problem solving and an appetite to handle variety will be key. The GC is a supportive and friendly mentor.
You may be an NQ or recently qualified solicitor with some commercial contracts experience looking to move in- house or a more qualified legal counsel looking for a new role in an international business, or perhaps a lawyer looking to return to work after a period our for family or personal reasons.
The flexibility continues with home working - although a West Midlands HQ, you would be able to manage your own diary in terms of office presence, that could be once a week, or once a month. So again could suit someone looking to return to work and looking for flexibility.
