Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: East Kilbride
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Quantity Surveyor:
*Manage project costs to optimize value and minimize liabilities.
*Oversee the placement of subcontractors and ensure compliance with contracts and agreements.
*Prepare final accounts, cash flow forecasts, and compile financial data for reporting.
*Attend progress meetings and collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
*Undertake monthly cost reporting to track project financial performance.
*Contribute to project delivery and support continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
Skills and Qualifications for the Quantity Surveyor:
*A strong passion for professional development and training in a dynamic company.
*Proven experience working for a main contractor in a similar role.
*Experience in fast track fit-outs, preferably within the retail sector.
*Excellent IT and communication skills.
*A professional attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
*Ability to analyse financial information and produce accurate reports.
