Maintenance Engineer - Food manufacturer  
£37k - £50k depending on seniority & shift pattern + amazing benefits  
Monday to Friday, 45hour week  (days or nights, flexible)

Duties of the successful Maintenance Engineer will include:
*Carry out regular checks of the complete site, equipment & manufacturing machinery of this food (vegetables) manufacturing
*Provide reactive and planned maintenance on food manufacturing machines, chillers, mixers, conveyor systems etc
*Manage, supervise & motivate a team of multi skilled engineers
*Coordinate the team ensuring reactive maintenance is carried out in line with importance
*Ensure that planned maintenance initiatives are carried out effectively
*To contribute to the health and safety of the site
*Support all installations and projects on the fabric of the building
*Advice on improvements
*Monitor, order & control stock
*Ensure that ALL SOP’s meet health and safety requirements
*Typical hours, Monday to Friday, 45hour week (days or nights, flexible)

The Successful Maintenance Engineer will enjoy;

Required experience & characteristics of the Maintenance Engineer
*Proven experience completing PPM & faul diagnostics for a food manufacturer
*Able to read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, instructions and software.
*Experienced in successfully completing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and / or electrical/electronic engineering environments.
*Mechanical, pneumatic or electrical engineering-based qualification
*Good communication capability
*Experience of working with manufacturing environments
*Highly focused on quality, safety and managing the working environment.
*Strong command of the English Language
*Enthusiastic, polite & professional character
