Based north of Birmingham, a very well established and successful manufacturer of precision turned components are seeking to appoint a Setter / Programmer to join their highly skilled production team.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this is a key role within the business and requires a candidate that is not just a Setter / Programmer but has a well-rounded engineering skillset that will enable them to provide input into the execution of projects and also deliver the project from an engineering perspective.

We are looking for a Setter / Programmer with:
*Good knowledge of engineering practices setting and programming.
*Mazak fixed head (Hyperquadrex) or other twin spindle twin turret lathes experience.
*Citizen Miyano twin spindle, twin turret experience.
*The ability to work on your own initiative, take ownership of tasks and projects, and also work well in a team environment.
*Familiarity with modern best practices, machinery, tooling and process control producing high quality components.
