Our client has an exciting opportunity to join work in their factory together with the NPD Manager to assist in the development of new product concepts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
*Working to customer briefs to develop new products.
*Produce and formulate new recipes & carry out production trials.
*Support the Team with technical issues with regards to the new products.
*Source required ingredients and packaging for new products being introduced & despatch samples to customers.
*Oversee and manage the packaging process and select of materials, packaging design, testing, cost analysis and machine operation.
*Design, develop and specify innovative packaging solutions.
*Organise pre-launch meetings with the team.
Qualifications:
*Food related degree or similar
*Proficiency in MS Office
*2-3 Years experience in the food industry with product packaging & NPD
*2 - 3 years’ experience within the food industry preferred
