*Manage and develop the Accounts Payable team
*Oversee invoice processing and payment runs
*Maintain supplier relationships and manage queries
*Implement and improve processes within the Accounts Payable function
*Assist with monthly and year-end closing
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
*Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency
*Provide regular reports to senior management
Profile
A successful ’Accounts Payable Team Leader’ should have:
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
*Experience in managing an Accounts Payable team
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
*Excellent communication and leadership skills
*Proficiency in accounting software
*Ability to work collaboratively and drive process improvements
