What’s the gig?You’ll be right at the heart of the IT team, rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck into:

*Writing, executing, and maintaining test plans and strategies


*Designing and reviewing test cases (yes, you get to tell the devs when they’ve missed something)


*Creating and maintaining automated test scripts


*Performing non-functional testing and collaborating on DevOps practices


*Quality-assuring third-party and offshore suppliers (you’ll be their favourite)


*Helping keep releases fast, clean, and glitch-free


What we’re looking for:Must-Haves

*Hands-on experience in software testing and QA


*Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript


*Strong SQL/database testing skills


*DevOps know-how (tools and practices)


*A solid grasp of Agile environments


*Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle


*Analytical, methodical, and detail-obsessed


Nice-to-Haves

*Test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium WebDriver etc.)


*JMeter experience


*Experience with system migrations or transformations


*Payroll testing knowledge (bonus points if you’ve danced with HMRC)
