Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Senior Neonatal Staff Nurse for a temporary contract. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care to neonates in a well-established health care setting. The role requires recent UK-based experience, a valid professional registration, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Provide neonatal care to newborns in critical or specialised care units
* Work effectively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care
* Assist in the assessment, planning, and delivery of individual patient care
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records in line with clinical guidelines and procedures
* Respond to medical emergencies and assist with the stabilisation of neonates when necessary
* Supervise and mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
* Ensure compliance with all clinical standards and regulatory requirements
* Contribute to the ongoing development of clinical practices and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements: * Recent UK experience in a neonatal or similar health care setting (essential)
* Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the necessary specialist qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* DBS check and proof of any relevant clearances
* References from 2 previous employers
* No warnings or restrictions with the Professional Body
