Deputy Home Manager (Residential Care)
Salary: £29,000 | 40 Hours per week
Are you an experienced and compassionate leader with a passion for delivering high-quality care? Our client is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join their specialist residential care home for individuals with autism. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference, supporting the Home Manager in maintaining a nurturing, inclusive, and person-centred environment.
As Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the home operates efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of care. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, oversee care plans, and ensure a supportive, empowering atmosphere for residents and staff alike.
What You’ll Need
* Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or above), demonstrating a strong foundation in care practices

* Proven experience in a senior role within a residential care setting, specifically supporting individuals with autism

* Strong leadership and communication skills, fostering a collaborative and compassionate team culture

* A person-centred approach with a genuine passion for enhancing the well-being and independence of individuals with autism

* Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in residential care, ensuring compliance and excellence

Your Key Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently

* Lead, supervise, and guide care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment

* Oversee and tailor care plans, ensuring a person-centred approach that promotes well-being and independence

* Liaise with families, external professionals, and stakeholders to advocate for the best interests of residents

* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment, where both residents and staff feel valued and supported

* Contribute to staff training, development, and performance management, helping the team reach its full potential
