Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Transport planner to join a Global Freight forwarder based in Basildon on a temp - perm basis to start asap
*Planning delivery routes for fleet vehicles
*Handle any discrepancies quickly
*Maximize load capacity and orchestrate driver and vehicle schedules for optimal profitability
*Engage pro-actively in driver PCM sessions, ensuring clear communication and alignment
*Planning experience in multi drop transport is essential
Working hours Monday to Friday 12noon-8.30pm
You must have a full 5 year checkable work history and be willing to have a criminal record check completed before starting employment
