Trainee Removals Branch Manager – Nottingham
Alchemy is working with a leading UK removals company to recruit a Trainee Removals Branch Manager in Nottingham. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity in the domestic, international and commercial relocation industry. The role offers full training and fast-track career progression within a busy operational branch environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Shadow and support the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations
*Learn to manage branch profitability and cost control
*Assist in sales development for domestic, international, storage, and O&I relocations
*Coordinate quotes, bookings, and job scheduling
*Help manage logistics, vehicles and staff deployment
*Ensure high-quality customer service and complaint resolution
*Support personnel management, including training and shift planning
*Monitor inventory, warehouse and storage operations
*Help implement health & safety procedures on removal sites
*Collect operational metrics and assist with performance reporting
*Liaise with suppliers, vendors and industry partners
*Contribute to process improvements and initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to work independently and in a team
*Good numeracy and literacy, with PC literacy (MS Office)
*Planning and organisational skills
*Highly motivated, ambitious and resourceful attitude
*Relocation or logistics sector experience preferred but not essential
