Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a bright, customer-focused Showroom Assistant to join their friendly team. Day-to-day of the role:
*Welcoming customers and assisting them in finding the right products to suit their needs
*Demonstrating products and other equipment confidently and safely
*Using internal systems to manage stock, enquiries, and orders—strong computer skills are essential
*Answering telephone and showroom enquiries in a warm, professional manner
*Receiving and replenishing stock
*Staying up-to-date with the latest product ranges
*Supporting the team with general showroom duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Friendly, reliable, and customer-first attitude
*Confident communicator who listens well and understands customer needs
*Organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn new systems and products
*Comfortable using computers for customer records, emails, and stock systems
*Retail experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and enthusiasm are more important.
