Job Description:
We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly, close-knit finance team in a thriving and dynamic organisation. The Role
As Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key part in ensuring financial records are accurate, up to date, and compliant. You’ll work across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cashbook functions, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. From processing invoices to preparing month-end reports, your contribution will be integral to the team’s success.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage and reconcile daily revenue and cash received
*Maintain and balance general ledgers
*Prepare and update weekly debt reports
*Process purchase ledger invoices, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies
*Assist with month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset schedules
*Support year-end audit preparation
*Provide support to the wider finance team when needed

*1–2 years of finance experience (purchase and sales ledger)
*Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems
*Great organisational skills and an eye for detail
*Proactive, adaptable, and a team player
