What will you do as an Assistant Accountant?
*Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
*Reconcile bank, credit card, and control accounts
*Assist with management accounts and reporting packs
*Support cash flow forecasting and budget monitoring
*Oversee purchase and sales ledger processes where needed
*Help improve internal financial controls and procedures
*Manage a small finance team
What do you need as an Assistant Accountant?
*AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA (support may be offered)
*Solid knowledge of accounting principles and transactional finance
*Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic reporting)
*Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable — SME mindset essential!
